导读: 首届“安仁双年展”将于2017年10月在成都安仁古镇举办,考虑人们熟悉的安仁古镇的历史和人文现状,同时,也考虑到安仁古镇的未来发展目标,安仁双年展的主题将顾及到历史、今天与未来。

  首届“安仁双年展”将于2017年10月在成都安仁古镇举办,考虑人们熟悉的安仁古镇的历史和人文现状,同时,也考虑到安仁古镇的未来发展目标,安仁双年展的主题将顾及到历史、今天与未来。因此,从艺术展览和相关的学术安排上,我们将安仁放置于全球化与地域性交叉语境中进行抽样式考察,通过艺术创作与实验的呈现,对历史记忆与当代问题进行交互性学术安排,破除当代艺术扁平化、符号化的偏见,呈现当代艺术鲜活与多元的思想与语言结构,同时,也试图探讨全球化与在地化对当下视觉文化的潜在影响,在保持全球化视野的前提下分析地域特征的历史多样性和复杂性,将世界—中国—成都—安仁放在一个没有中心与边缘设置的动态结构中进行理解和呈现,使“安仁双年展”能够呈现多种视角透视下的当代艺术。

  安仁双年展是根据成都安仁古镇的特殊风貌,由华侨城-西部集团发起建立的展览品牌;首届安仁双年展将是一个开端,我们将搭建起一个国内外不同代际艺术家展示与交流的两年一届的双年展学术平台,持续地通过双年展及相关活动增强安仁镇的人文内容和当代影响力。

  “今日之往昔”是首届安仁双年展的主题,在今天,我们的社会的景象导致被认为是一个图像消费的“景观社会”(居伊·德波),全球化为“景观”加上了无限想象定语,给人们造就了问题的多重性与相关思考。结果,关于“何为今天”的思考也成为迫切的话题,“今日之往昔”这个带有反省意味的主题是一种关于当下艺术的强烈反思,这与我们今日的艺术状况有着关联,这个主题意味着再次提出一个需要回答的问题:何为今天的艺术?这是“今日之往昔”所思考与呈现的。当然,不限于此的学术追问还包括:何为历史中“今天的艺术”?同时今天的艺术又是何以构成历史?关于艺术历史感的指向也是“今日之往昔”所呈现的问题指向。

  安仁双年展采取国际惯常的双年展总策展人负责的策展人小组机制,由艺术史学家吕澎担任总策展人,遵照专业、学术、国际等原则搭建展览结构,制定展览的主题和架构选择参展的艺术作品、拟定参展的艺术家名单,保证展览的学术性效果及影响。策展小组由蓝庆伟+杜曦云、卢迎华+刘鼎、刘杰+吕婧、马克四组构成,四组策展人完成“今日之往昔”主题下的四个单元,分策展人在总策展人的分工安排下完成策展的不同工作。

  除此之外,此次安仁双年展还将征召设置特别邀请展单元,分布在不同的空间和场馆,让其成为主展的有机补充,并通过灵活多样的艺术手段和艺术形式与安仁产生互动。

  本次安仁双年展将会由来自二十余个国家和地区的近百位艺术家构成,艺术形式多样,集绘画、摄影、装置、影像、雕塑等于一体。在展览展示方面既与安仁古镇形成有机结合,同时华侨城西部集团委托建筑师刘家琨改造了安仁古镇中的一所废旧厂房作为此次双年展的主场馆,并以其为安仁双年展打造一个永久展馆。

Sponsored by OCTWest, Anren Biennale was founded according to the special features of Anren ancient town in ChengDu. 

The 1st Anren Biennale will be held in October 2017 in Anren ancient town in ChengDu. In the light of history and culture situations of Anren, as well as its future planning, the theme of Anren Biennale will be dedicated to an open dialogue between history, contemporary and future. This perspective leads Anren Biennale to a sample survey that unfolds over the context of globalization and territoriality. The academic discussion on historical memory and contemporary questions will be vitalized and pluralized through non-symbolic and non-flattening art creation that penetrates prejudices against contemporary art. In the meantime, Anren Biennale tries to offer multiple perspectives to see contemporary art, and tries to examine the potential influence on current visual art brought by both globalization and localization. Under a global vision, Anren Biennale means to present a decentralized dynamic structure of World-China-ChengDu-Anren, and to analyze regional features in the realm of historical diversity and complexity.

The 1st Anren Biennale would be a beginning to build an academic ground for exhibiting and exchanging for artists from different countries and generations. It will continue to enhance sustainable cultural landscape and impact of Anren through the biennial exhibition and related activities.

Today’s Yesterday is the theme of the 1st Anren Biennale. Nowadays our society has been regarded as a Society of Spectacle (Guy Debord) and of image consumption. Globalization has been offering a growing space of imagination to the spectacle, which has created multiple questions and relevant thinking of the problem. Today’s Yesterday is a strongly reflective theme, and re-proposes to us the question of What Is Today, What Is Art of Today. Furthermore, the biennale also inquiry into What Is Art of Today in history, How does Art of Today constitute history, and point to the historical sense of art.

Anren Biennale adopts international practices of recruiting curator team chaired by a chief curator: art historian LV Peng. Abide by professional, academic and international standards, the curator team will formulate exhibition theme and structure, drew up participating artist list, select artworks, guarantee academic function and influence of the biennale. Curator team is composed of four groups, namely LAN Qingwei + DU Xiyun, LIU Ding + Carol Yinghua Lu, LIU Jie + LV Jing, Marco Soctini. Under the theme of Today’s Yesterday /今日之往昔, four different units will be launched and presented by the whole curator team. 

Besides, the 1st Anren Biennale includes a special unit of invitational exhibition, which distributes in different venues and works as an organic compliment to the main exhibition. The relationship between biennale and local community will be strengthened through various art forms.

This time, Anren Biennale will cover nearly 100 invited artists from more than 20 countries, and will lead to a pluralism of expressions: painting, photography, installation, motion pictures, sculpture etc.. Except the unique landscape of Anren, main venue of the 1st biennale, also the permanent exhibiting hall will be built out of Anren’s old workshop in order to accommodate the exhibition spaces.

  总策展人--吕 澎

  艺术史家,1956年出生于四川重庆。1977—1982年在四川师范学院政治教育系读书;1982—1985年任《戏剧与电影》杂志社编辑;1986—1991年任四川戏剧家协会副秘书长;1990年—1993年任《艺术 · 市场》杂志执行主编;1992年为“广州双年展”艺术主持;2004年,中国美术学院博士研究生毕业,获博士学位。2005—2016年任中国美术学院艺术人文学院副教授。2011—2014年任成都当代美术馆馆长。现为那特艺术学院院长。

  2009年,53届威尼斯双年展特别邀请展“给马可波罗的礼物”策展人(联合策展人阿基莱 · 伯尼托 · 奥利瓦(Achille Bonito Oliva) ),2010年,“改造历史:2000-2009年中国新艺术”策展人。2010年,伦敦Louise Blouin Foundation “溪山清远——中国当代新绘画”策展人。2011年,美国旧金山亚洲艺术博物馆主办的“溪山清远——中国当代新绘画”策展人。2011年,“2011成都双年展”总策展人兼当代艺术展策展人。2013年1月,日本福冈亚洲美术馆“溪山清远——流觞故事:中国当代新绘画”策展人,5月,第55届威尼斯双年展特别邀请展“历史之路”策展人(联合策展人阿基莱 · 伯尼托 · 奥利瓦(Achille Bonito Oliva)),7月,西班牙巴塞罗那圣塔莫妮卡艺术中心主办的“溪山清远——中国当代艺术的转型”策展人。2015年,10月,北京保利艺术博物馆“[绘画] PAINTING:贰拾X20”策展人。2016年,11月,南京百家湖美术馆第三届南京国际美展“HISTORICODE: 萧条与供给”总策展人。以及数个中国当代艺术家个展的策展人。

LU PENG is the President of L-artuniversity. Born in 1956 in Chongqing, Sichuan province, Professor Lu graduated from the Political Education Department of Sichuan Normal University in 1982 and was awarded a PhD in critical theory from the China Art Academy in 2004. Lu Peng was chief editor of the journal Theatre and Film from 1982-85, and also served as Vice-secretary of the Sichuan Dramatists Society from 1986-91. He subsequently held the position of executive editor at the magazine Art and Market from 1990—93, and in 1992 he served as artistic director of the Guangzhou Biennale (officially titled the First Guangzhou Biennial Art Fair). He was the Associate Professor in the Department of Art History and Theory at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou from 2005 to 2016. Between 2011 and 2014, he was the Director of Chengdu Moca.

His most recent curatorial achievements include “A Gift to Marco Polo ”(Venice Biennale,2009), which showcased eight of China’s most prominent contemporary artists, and “Reshaping History”(Beijing,2010), a massive exposition presenting more than 2,000 works by nearly 200 of the most innovative Chinese artists of the first decade of the 21st century. He curated “2011 Art Changsha”. Chief Curator and also Curator of contemporary art exhibition of 2011 Chengdu Biennale.Curator of "Pure Views: New Painting from China" in Louise Blouin Foundation in London in 2010. Curator of "Pure Views: New Painting from China" in Asia Art Museum in San Francisco in 2011. Curator of "Pure Views-- New Paintings from China: Traditions Reactivated" in Fukuoka Asian Art Museum in Japan in January, 2013; Curator (cooperating with Achille Bonito Oliva) of "Passage to History 20 Years" of the special invitation exhibition of Venice Biennale in May, 2013; Curator of "Pure Views-Transforms of Chinese Contemporary Art" in Arts Santa Monica in Barcelona in July, 2013; Curator of “PAINTING: 20 X 20” in Poly Art Museum in Beijing in October, 2015; Chief Curator of “Historicode:Scarcity and Supply” in Nanjing in November, 2016; And also Curator of many solo exhibitions of China 's contemporary art.

  分策展人--杜曦云

  策展人,昊美术馆副馆长。他策划了很多大型当代艺术展,并有很多文章广为传播。曾主编《艺术时代》等专业刊物。他强调在国际视野、当代文明的背景中判断中国当代艺术,在政治经济学的框架中界定文化。 

Du Xiyun  Curator, Deputy director of HOW Art Museum. Born in 1978. He has curated many large contemporary art exhibitions and composed many trenchant articles which have been widely spread. Once he worked as the chief editor of ARTTIME. He focused on evaluating Chinese contemporary art in the context of global vision and modern civilization, as well as defining culture in the framework of political economy.

  分策展人--蓝庆伟

  艺评人、独立策展人,博士,广汇美术馆副馆长。四川美术学院特聘教师,专栏作者,“壹平方阅读”公益图书馆发起人。一直从事美术馆管理及美术馆学研究、现当代美术研究、当代艺术评论与策展实践的工作。曾任成都当代美术馆副馆长、执行馆长。

Lan Qingwei

Art critic; curator; doctoral student at Sichuan University; current Assistant Director of Guanghui Museum.  Distinguished teacher at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute; columnist; founding member of One Square Reading Public Library. Engaged in research of modern and contemporary fine art; curator and critic of contemporary art; scholar of museum studies as well as museum management. Assistant Director/ Executive Director of Chengdu Museum of Contemporary Art, 2011—2017. Lan Qingwei’s research mainly focuses on museum management and Chinese modern and contemporary art history. After graduating from China Academy of Art, College of Arts and Humanities with a B.A., M.A; Lan Qingwei began in2011 to serve as Assistant Director at the Chengdu Museum of Contemporary Art, then as Executive Director. He took a keen interest in museum management and China art museumology, doing deep textual analysis. In 2016 he published The Order of Museums, after independently publishing books and tens of articles on Chinese contemporary art history for over ten years. More estimable is that, aside from theoretical introspection, Lan Qingwei has continuously curated and produced exhibitions,from large-scale biennales to international live art festivals. Rather than focusing on minutiae, Lan Qingwei prefers to think of the larger picture. For example, when presenting a solo exhibition, he focuses on social-historical contextualization of the artist when exhibiting or forming discourses.

  分策展人--刘鼎、卢迎华

  刘鼎现居北京,是艺术家和策展人。刘鼎的创作带有极强的理论性和思辩性。在作品创作、展览策划和理论研究等多方面的实践中,他反复探索经验与意识对于塑造我们的意识形态、语汇和社会组织方式等方面的重要意义。刘鼎曾参加过第14届伊斯坦布尔双年展、第八届亚太三年展、第八届上海双年展、第三届新奥尔良双年展、第八届台北双年展、第二届广州三年展、第四届首尔媒体双年展等重要展览,并于2009年参加第53届威尼斯双年展的中国馆。他的作品也多次在国内外艺术机构和美术馆中展出。

  卢迎华是墨尔本大学艺术史博士候选人,北京中间美术馆馆长。她毕业于瑞典伦德大学马尔默艺术学院的批评研究的硕士课程。她是 frieze艺术杂志特邀编辑,也是《展览主义者》编委会成员之一。2012年她担任威尼斯双年展金狮奖评委,是第九届光州双年展的联合策展人。2013年,她担任意大利Museion美术馆客座策展人,并获得泰特美术馆研究中心亚太计划的首个特邀研究学者奖金。她也是2017年美国艺术史研究机构协会(ARIAH)首届“东亚学者奖”的四位获奖者之一。

  自2011年以来,刘鼎与卢迎华共同策划了一系列展览:“小运动:当代艺术中的自我实践I、II”(2011,2013年)、“偶然的信息:艺术不是一个体系,也不是一个世界”(2012年)、“从艺术的问题到立场的问题:社会主义现实主义的回响”(2014年)、“‘新刻度’与钱喂康:中国早期观念艺术的两个案例”(2015年),和“沙龙沙龙:1972-1982年以北京为视角的现代美术实践侧影”(2017年)等。他们共同通过展览实践和出版从思想史的角度将历史与当代进行有机连接和多角度的描摹与凝视,以多重线索展开对中国艺术的主体性叙述。

Liu Ding

Liu Ding is a Beijing-based artist and curator. His artistic and curatorial practices focus on connecting the historical and the contemporary from a perspective embedded in the history of thoughts, and through descriptions and gazes of multiple layers. He has participated in international biennials such as 2015 Istanbul Biennial, 2015 Asia Pacific Triennial, 2014 Shanghai Biennial, 2014 Prospect 3 New Orleans, 2012 Taipei Biennial, Chinese Pavilion of 2009 Venice Biennial, 2008 Media City Seoul, and 2005 Guangzhou Triennial.

Carol Yinghua Lu

Carol Yinghua Lu is an art critic and curator. She is a PhD candidate in art history at the University of Melbourne and director of Beijing Inside-out Art Museum. She is a contributing editor at Frieze and is on the advisory board of The Exhibitionist. Lu was on the jury for the Golden Lion Award at the 2011 Venice Biennale. She was the co-artistic director of the 2012 Gwangju Biennale and co-curator of the 7th Shenzhen Sculpture Biennale in 2012.

  千高原艺术空间   创始人、艺术总监。刘杰先生也是一位资深的策展人,十年来策划了众多的艺术项目,他创立的千高原艺术空间是中国最重要的当代艺术画廊之一。 Liu Jie, Fouder & Director of A Thousand Plateaus Art Space. Mr. Liu is also a senior curator who has planned many art projects over last ten years. A Thousand Plateaus Art Space is one of the most important contemporary art galleries in china.

  分策展人--吕婧(Rain)

  那特画廊创始人、总监。

  吕婧于墨尔本大学获得人文学学士学位,主修艺术史与新闻传媒,后于悉尼大学获得国际商务金融硕士学位。2011年吕婧回到成都创办那特画廊,着力发掘、支持、培养和推广当代艺术新力量,画廊于创办后的第三年被芭莎艺术评为十大新锐画廊并陆续获得不同奖项。吕婧定期在画廊空间内策划不同艺术家的个展和群展及相关艺术沙龙等公众活动,并参加北京、香港、新加坡、台北、上海等地的重要博览会。吕婧创立的那特画廊逐渐成为了最具影响力的当代艺术空间之一。

Lu Jing (Rain)

Founder and Director of L-Art Gallery LU Jing obtained Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Art History and Media&Communication. She then obtained Master Degree of Commerce majoring International Business and Finance. Lu Jing founded L-Art Gallery in year 2011 aiming to discovering and promoting the new generation of artists in contemporary art. And she curates various artists’ projects and exhibitions both in and outside gallery space. Lu Jing has led her gallery to become one of the most influential contemporary art space in China.

  分策展人--Marco Scotini (马可·斯科蒂尼)

  意大利 1964

  现任FM当代艺术中心艺术总监,米兰新美术学院NABA视觉艺术与策展专业主任。2004-2016年起担任Gianni Colombo档案馆主任,2014年起担任都灵PAV(生态艺术公园)艺术策展总监。

  斯科蒂尼教授同时是《No Order: Art in a Post-Fordist Society》(无序;后福特主义社会中的艺术)杂志创办人,该杂志由柏林Archive Books出版发行,并且其编写的艺术评论以及相关论文曾多次发表于国内外专业艺术杂志,其中包括《Moscow Art Magazine》、《Springerin》、《Flash Art》、《Domus》、《Manifesta Journal》、《Kaleidoscope》、《Brumaria》、《Arte e Critica》、《Millepiani》、《Alfabeta》等等。 出版著作包括《Politiche della Memoria》(《记忆的政治性》),《Politiques de la vegeration》(《植物生态政治》),《Artecrazia. Macchine espositive e governo dei pubblici》(《展览机器以及公共权力》)等等。

  作为独立策展人,斯科蒂尼教授在欧洲和世界范围内多次成功策划各类展览,其中包括2015年威尼斯双年展阿尔巴尼亚馆,以及2003、2005、2007连续三届捷克布拉格双年展等。 其中最为人所熟知的国际巡回展览为 Disobedience Archive(展览主题为探讨社会这一大型机器产生的权力以及媒介展示等相关问题),该展览于2005至2015年期间,曾多次在意大利国内以及多个国际博物馆、艺术中心进行展出,其中包括
